Enrile Ville Project

Housing Initiative

In Partnership with
Valenzuela LGU

The Enrile Ville Project, initiated by EPDC, seeks to challenge the prevailing notion that achieving sustainable and socialized housing in the Philippines is unattainable. The project advocates for sustainable construction by utilizing alternative building systems and renewable green technology.

According to the most recent energy report, the Philippines ranks among Asia’s highest energy costs. Given the global energy market’s instability, there exists a risk of further escalation in power expenses.

To address this concern, the project recommends the incorporation of innovative designs such as the plantation of trees, insulation on the roofing, water-efficient plumbing fixtures etc., thereby reducing energy consumption and fostering sustainability. The project also proposes the use of sustainable materials such as bamboo for construction, highlighting its cost-effectiveness and resilience against natural disasters.
